I can completely relate to your story! In my case, my family constantly compared me to my mother, who was once known as the most beautiful woman in her hometown in Morocco.

I grew up in her "shadow of beauty" and hated dealing with these comparisons: "You just aren't as pretty as your mother...what a shame."

In the end though, things aren't always as they seem, and outer beauty is superficial. It fades, but what remains is your character, who you truly are as a person is what matters.

I've learned to embrace my own unique beauty and not let anyone compare me to my mother or anyone else. We are all beautiful just as we are!
