This is a brilliant term! First time I've heard of it. Phubbing is such a problem these days! I regularly have to ask friends and family members to put their phones away while I'm talking to them. We're all so attached to our phones!

I used to struggle with this myself honestly, but I now ensure to keep my phone on silent when I'm spending time with someone. Sometimes I even leave my phone at home while out because I really want a screen break and to focus on the person I'm going to meet.
